Hey world!
I've created some text in an A4 design and added 'Gradient Overlay' going from 29072b to ffffff. Blend mode is normal and angle is 90°. The gradient is perfect in Photoshop at any zoom level but when saving as PDF and viewing the PDF in Google Chrome, it shows a white line at the top of the text, as if a single-pixel-line 'escapes' the overlay. Even when zooming in the artefact remains:
When viewing it with SumatraPDF it shows the same artefact but it disappears when zooming in:
Playing with the export settings (with/without layers, PDF/X-4:2008 preset, High Quality Print preset, different compatibility, etc.) doesn't really seem to help. I'm using Photoshop 23.2.2 on Windows 11 22H2.

In the meantime I fixed it by placing a box of the some colour as the background on top of it.

Hi @Timmmmaaahh! sorry to hear this. To make sure, are you flattening the psd file before you export, or have you tried that and does the same thing happen?
Thank you,
Cory

Hi Cory, thanks for replying. That's not a bad idea and I might do that for just this graphic but I want the text to be selectable and I'm adding a link with Adobe Pro (because for some reason the presentation export in PS fails to do that) in some of the text after exporting.
