I have been using Photoshop for many years. Today for an unknown reason, photoshop is not allowing me to save my processed image to the desktop. Anyone know why?

Two things to try:

  • To restore Photoshop’s warning dialogs, go to Photoshop menu > Preferences > General.
Click the “Reset All Warning Dialogs” button, then click “Okay.”

  • Go to Photoshop menu > Preferences > File Handling > Default File Location > Set to "On your computer" and restart Photoshop.

Check "Mac System Preferences > Security & Privacy" and look to see if Photoshop (the version you are using) has access to Files and Folders like so and for good measure "Full Disk Access".
