What are the hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

My SSD is my bootdisc. 6,49 Gb of 236 Gb are free
My second drive has 715 Gb free of the total of 1,75 Tb
Originally I figured the second drive as the scratchdisc, but that was changed by an unknown reason.

Looks like that is the problem. 6GB free on the only enabled scratch disk is basically the same as no space free. (I aim for at least 100GB free myself.)

You’re already on the right track, then. If that D drive is enabled again and also made the primary scratch disk (so that Photoshop uses it first), the problem should go away, as long as the D drive remains enabled. Is the D drive always connected?
In case you don’t already know how to make the D drive the primary scratch disk, select it, find the pair of arrows at the right side of the list, and click the up arrow until the D drive is at the top of the list.
Just keep in mind that with only 6GB free on the startup volume, other applications or the system may also have issues if they try to create temp/VM files exceeding that amount of free space.
