Whenever I use scrubby zoom, the image I'm zooming in/out on persists, leaving trains of artifacts in the workspace. This continues to happen after updating my graphics driver, and after uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop.

I use scrubby zoom for my workflow as a digital painter. Deselecting "use Graphics Processor" in Preferences is not a viable workaround for me, because it severely hampers the funtionality I need from Photoshop.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
