Seems to be a weird rendering issue with the minimums tool.

I'm processing a photo of the milky way I took, and after using the minimum filter, these weird patterns appear. I've never had this issue until a few days ago and nothing I can find has worked. I have tried the suggestions on

and have had no luck.

What color profile is your machine working with? Could you also share a sample PSD file?

Hey, @patrick_1805. Thanks for sharing the system info and the PSD file. Photoshop updates are available via the Creative Cloud desktop app. Please update Photoshop to the latest version.

The PSD shows how the issue is already, not the source document, and none of the layers are available to see the before-and-after versions.
