Hello, this has been super frustrating and I'm really hoping you can help solve this. This is the version I am using:
Adobe Photoshop Version: 23.2.2 20220304.r.325 49bf0ec x64
Number of Launches: 7
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Version: 10 10.0.19044.1586
Steps:
1) I use the object tool to select my object
2) I click Select and Mask
3) Once I'm finished picking out my selection I click Ok
4) I then Control J to create the mask on a new Layer 1
5) Photoshop then shutsdown and Kicks me out
6) Doesn't remember where I was when I open it up
My GPU compatibaility says Your graphic processor is compatible.
I also tried starting with plug-ins turned off and the problem still happened.
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks!

I've never gotten a crash report field after it crashes. How do I get this? It happens nearly everytime I do a layer mask copy.

Apologies, just noticed the instruction. I'll try it and see if it creates the crash report and I'll send. Thanks for letting me know.

I ran the windows prompt to allow the crash report to be active. I went into Adobe, and it crashed but I did not see a report. I restarted my computer and went into Adobe, and it crashed, but I did not see a report. Just letting you know. Would love to know how to fix this. Let me know if you have more questions.
