Hello everyone... since the last photoshop update (2022) the select subject command no longer works correctly. Choose random image portions. Is there any particular option to set? Thanks for your attention...

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and informing us about the trouble.

What is your macOS version? Does it happen with all the images? Can you try and check if an object in a plain background gets selected correctly or not?

Please try disabling OpenCL but leave GPU preference on. If this doesn't help, try running Photoshop with  Rosetta emulation mode. Have you tried that option? If not, please try using Rosetta.

To learn how to run Photoshop in Rosetta, see About Rosetta.

Let us know if that makes any difference.
