Thanks for help everyone, I solved it actually; just clicked with right button on the mouse to reset Tools and now it's working properly.

Thanks again for help,

Although the following Knowledge Base article addresses a crash while using some Selection tools, you might try their recommendation which is to update your graphics driver:

Are you getting the message while running an action?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

@JakuB M.

I noticed that you chose Actions and Scripting as a Topic. If you got this message while running an Action (you didn't say), the layer name in your document needs to match the layer name in the Action.

If you don't see it, can you show a screenshots of the:

  • error message
  • actions panel (resize wider and taller)
  • layers panel (resize wider and taller)

Another possibility is that you have no layers selected.

Thanks for reporting back, @JakuB M. , as it will be helpful to others who search.

The screenshots @c.pfaffenbichler asked for would have helped us spot the issue quickly without guessing about what it might be. In this case, it was something in the options bar.
