Setting Defaults for New File

New Here ,
Feb 23, 2024 Feb 23, 2024

Hi. I searched the archives but I couldn't find an answer to this question so here we go.

PC user. When I create a new file in Photoshop web, I would like to set the defaults so that I don't have to set them every time. For example I would always like to have the new file be CMYK and 300dpi.

And while I'm at it, I've noticed that the setting for Type always defaults to "None" . I would like it to default to " Crisp" .

Thanks in advance for any advice!

@mattk47444396 In the home screen - save your document settings as a preset. As for the tools (like the type tool), change the settings without a document open and that will be the default for new documents. Quit and relaunch PS to save them.
