Short cut key for the activity

If I can remember correctly [ALT + Mouse Drag one of the corner of the image] will zoom in/out the image from the centre of the image? it does not come any more. What is alternate shortcut key for this in Windows?

Just check "scrubby zoom" in the options bar for click-drag zoom.

The most useful shortcuts are ctrl + ctrl - and ctrl 1. I usually drag a rectangle with the zoom tool, and then ctrl 1 for 100% if needed. Thousand ways to do this.
