I use Photoshop CS5/3 for Drawing and creative art. Hense I measure up images using the awesome 'Show Transform Control' Option Command, whilst in the Move Tool. But im SICK of having to CHECK AND UNCHECK the box. Please somebody tell me where I can find a Keybaord Short Cut Option in the Keybaord Short Cut and Menus Section.

Thank you.

Ive kind of answered my own question.

Keep the 'Show Transform Control' box checked all the time. When 'Show Transform Control' BOUNDING BOX starts getting on your nerves, press: Ctrl + H to HIDE the slections on screen! Dont forget to press Cntrl H to get it back when you switch to other tools.

Hopes this helps speed the job up.

You can also hit Command T to switch to Transform mode, and press enter/return to exit and retain the changes you made.

Best of luck!

Hi There ~  I just started using Adobe Creative Cloud and when using the 'move/transform' tool, I used to be able to apply the (mac) commend + H to hide the transform controls . but it doesn't work in this version of photoshop.. I've tried option +h, control + h, commend + h, I've been searching on google.. any guidance is really appreciated!

thanks

3 years late to your question, but to any one looking for a solution for this - the best thing I've found to do is just toggle between transform (V) and zoom (z) tools to hide the transform box and bring it back.

5 years late 😉 ... V is the move tool. CTRL-T brings up the "free Transform" as in Edit->Free transform. Functionality and the possibilities are slightly different.
