New Here ,
Feb 23, 2024 Feb 23, 2024

hey everybody, I have a problem selecting objects that have a close color to the background, or objects that have parts that match the backsground color like a sea wave in front of blue sky, I tried lots of techniques like quick selection and color range and channels, but since the colors are too close i cannot seperate the object at all. does anyone have a soluton?

I uploaded a sample image where i tried to mask the sofa out of the background and faced this problem with.

@bashar321357159eqq for the sofa, I'd recommend the Pen Tool

Una opción podría ser, se me ocurre, establecer un límite de píxeles mínimo.

I agree with Ged, and will add to set the options for the Pen tool to Path (not Shape or Pixels).

When finished, name the path to save it, then convert it to a selection.

yeah that would work perfectly for the sofa! thank you

but i don't guess so for the waves as they are neither straigh nor curved lines, they are more like noisy
