I recently got a mac 24" and my photoshop has so many bugs
at random moments I will try to export and save an image, and when i press the save button, nothing happens. That continues to happen until I have to force it to close.
It has also recently been freezing and doing the same - only stopping when I force quit and restart it

I am a professional photographer and this is the 5th time I have reported the problem and got it seen to and yet it keep happening and I loose hours of work!
My last image I lost took me hours to edit and create and I have had to close it down.

It has lost me hours of work and therefore money - if this a photoshop issue or a mac issue?

I really need to know as it is becoming a very frequent issue

Hi @emilyp67077207 I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble running Photoshop. Do you have the iMac 24-inch with 16GB of memory and at least the 512GB SSD? Can you cut and paste your Photoshop System Info into a reply here so we can take a look at what you're working with?

Hi @emilyp67077207 sorry to hear this. As Jain said, we really need to see your system info to be able to see what might be going on. What version of Ps do you have on this Mac, what sort of Creative Cloud subscription, etc?

We are happy to try to help, but we need more information to be able to.

Thank you,

Hi. Please check if your computer meets the recommended requirements for Photoshop: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

If your computer meets those requirements, please try resetting the preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

Most likely your Mac (or some conflict with other software). Obviously many Mac users have no such issues, myself included.

Try logging into another account (you may need to make one), still not working?
Try starting up in Safe mode (hold down Shift Key when booting), still not working correctly?
You might want to try running a free utility like Onyx: still crashing?
