Sky replacement worked for me on my old PC running Windows 10. Now I have a new PC with NVIDIA RTX 3080 and Windows 11. Under Help, PS reports my graphics card is compatible.
The Sky replacement is blazingly fast but the circle of dots stops rotating after a second and freezes in the lower left corner of the Sky replacement window. The layers are never sent to the layers panel and I have to use Task manager to exit PS.
I tried this with and without the use of the graphics card and with Image Processing | Selections Processing set to Faster or More stable. Without the card, a quarter of the sky is replaced after many seconds, and then it hangs.
I hate to say it, but On1 also does it blazingly fast, and I don't need to make any adjustments to turn on or off the graphics card. The results are reasonable, but on my old PC, I preferred the results from PS.
