Dear community, since yesterday I'm having these troubles with Photoshop. Zooming is impossible, painting is hell. I have improved Preference settings, checked RAM, cache, scratch disks but nothing is working! I'm working on 141mb file, with 34 layers and the efficiency is 100% (???). Latest photoshop version (23.4.2), Mac Os Monterey 12.4. Any idea?

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about the Photoshop lag issue that you see. We're here to help.
What is the file format of the document? Would you mind sharing your workflow? What all troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Have you tried so far apart from disabling the graphics processor?
If that helps, try these steps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html.
Are you using a Wacom Tablet Pen?
With Photoshop launched, press Ctrl+K to open Preferences, click on Technology Previews, check to Deactivate Native Canvas, click OK, then quit and relaunch Photoshop.
If this doesn't work, You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences.
Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences.
You can check https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences.
Let me know if that resolves the lag.
Thanks,
Ranjisha
