So many bugs with 24.2.0

I updated to the latest version 24.2.0 (on Windows 10 64bit) after it stated it had fixed the issue with the gradient tool and colour picker. Sure enough it was fixed, but within the next hour of use I came across 3 new bugs. Come on Adobe!

1) The gradient tool seems to stick in place about 70% of the time after holding down shift. This seems to occur when you use the shift key and mouse key in quick succession because if I slow down the process it works.

2) Type in a paragraph box when selected can sometimes just completely disappear. It's there, but you can't see it after selecting the content within a paragraph box.

3) The pan hand tool also regularly sticks so you can't quickly pan across documents.

I hope I'm not the only one experiencing these issues because they're pretty fundamental to Photoshop functionality.

Hi @Jemakestuff a couple of general thing to try:

Go to Preferences/Technology Preview and check "Disable Native Canvas" relaunch and check.

If that does not help, go back to the same pref and check "Use Older GPU Mode (2016)" relaunch again.

I've certainly noticed #3 on your list. I'm used to 'throwing' my image around the screen with the hand tool whilst I get rid of dust spots. Now it sticks to the hand tool like a sticky sweet wrapper you can't let go of. It's been doing it with the crop tool handles too.

Also, I noticing that my cursor is repositioning itself randomly on the screen after clicking an action.

Hi @Jemakestuff @gadget13769 have you tried going to Photoshop Preferences/Tools and disabling Flick Panning and Overscroll?

Thanks for your reply Kevin.

Overscroll was not selected (but was working), whilst flick-panning was selected (but was not working). Go figure.

Anyway, I turned both on then off and did a restart of PS. Then turned both on.

Now it seems to be working, but in a slightly jerky/not smooth manner.
