Thanks to all who took part in last weekend's scarecrow challenge.
Brushes are important tools in Photoshop and in art generally. I wonder though, what could you make out of a brush?
The “rules”:
To download the image below at 1500 x 3500 pixels with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser). The image is against a transparent background so there is no work for you in cutting it out.
When posting back your image – please use the Blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!

Hi Ged,
your work reminds me of Pierre Soulages (* 24. Dezember 1919). As a student I had many fruitless discussions and reflections about his art with my girlfriend a becoming art professor what these "outrenoir-images" would mean. But at least YOU used the right tool! 😉

Hah! So we now have two professors posting to the Photoshop forum. (Norman and Ged)
Ged, your image made me laugh out loud because of how clever it is.

@Ged: Yes, they are social distancing and staying in their family groups. The taller ones may or may not be the guys.
@Dave: Thank you!

Ohhh . . . is that Dave??
With PS Brushes and Layer Masks, that combo can reveal/hide so much.
I usually make my own.
Endless options there.
This was quickie.
Maybe I should name this “Dave’s Brush”

I bet Bob Ross could have painted it that quick with marbled paint on a large brush 🙂

That would make a good poster Rista. The engine paint reminded me of my youth when I hand painted a car. The finish had as many brush stroke marks as your painted surface 🙂

I'm doing a quick version for now (reusing an old one). Will come up with something else to add to all the creative versions others have posted.

I re-used a few things from old scenes when I made that swimming pool scene Dean. So you're entitled to re-use the image you made with it 🙂
