Thanks to all who took part in the last challenge, or should I say 'well done' !
For this week, we have a simple corkscrew. Whilst it has an obvious use on a weekend, I'm sure you can think of an alternative purpose.
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.
To download the image below at full size and with a transparent background, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun
Dave

John, it probably says terrible things about my state of mind, but I am seeing it as a Pamala Anderson chest expander.

This is great! A wonderful image and clever interpretation of the corkscrew.

You probably have to be of a 'certain age', like me, to remember that! As Rafael said - nice use of the corkscrew.

Sorry Dave, I tried but couldn't think of a single alternative purpose.

At the end of the day, it's all about priorities. Although, come to think of it, we have been using screw caps for as long as I've been in NZ. I somehow can't see a stuffy sommelier offering a dinner a screw cap to sniff.

There are a couple of places near me that will accept corks for recycling. That keeps them out of the landfill!

I not sure which is worse: tarantulas hiding in the bananas or getting your pay docked for the hour the blast sent you into the sky! 😊

They land in a lake filled with hungry aligators, but I thought it too dark to show that. I actually don't know why I uploaded it because it is naff as heck and I don't like it. 😞
