Hi,
Thanks to all who took part in our previous 'Washed Up' challenge.
This week we have something a little different. Most of you will be familiar with camera lens filters, pieces of glass fitted over camera lenses to correct colour or to introduce effects. Imagine if we could have a 'Genie Filter' that could grant you any image change or effect you wanted. This is your chance to show what your image would look like outside and through such a filter.
The “rules”:
To download the image, (it is transparent) hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right.
Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

There is indeed great demand for that one around these parts Jacob 🙂

Jacob - You'll be getting requests for that filter soon when users start searching this frequent question 🙂

Undoubtedly, Dean, but maybe something else will catch some attention too.
I wonder which is the scarier part, the lens showing the number of the plate through the lady, or the comfortably sitting lady and her bicycle with no saddle between them?

How does it feel to be at this place ...

Just when you were enjoying some peace and quiet.

That disturbance must make it even more difficult to keep the balance on that chair; and what if he happens to spot the brown bloke with the blue trousers walking the edge of the roof?

If you get in close, the head has a lioness look to it, but with a stiff left arm, one leg wearing jeans, and a rather crude prosthetic left leg. Hey. Creatures like this might exists, so we need to keep an open mind. 😉
I feel a bit bad about saying this, but my impression is that Generative Fill and Firefly results are not as good as they used to be (we are certainly see a LOT of posts to these forums that support that POV). I closely follow Colin Smith's and Jesus Rameriz's tips and tricks on how to use it, so I 'think' my selections and prompts are as relevant as they could be. Anyway, the glitch below, and poor continuity of the inserted roof slates, is pretty dire. That opinion is based on a guess of course, but the peg-legged, Levi wearing, Lioness below sure looks like a Firefly glitch.
Incidentally, Colin put up a killer video earlier this week. He must spend hours experimenting with Gen Fill, because he is coming well out of left field with this video.

For the armchair part I fail to count more than 3 legs, 2 of them belonging to the sitter.
Something similar has made me wonder about the third sample of the abilities of the most wanted filter shown here, once it caught my eye long after my posting it,

The bloke on the roof is clearly Jawa and has run up their to escape the singing 🙂

Yes, and I'll make the Christmas dresses from the curtains 😉

My memory is failing big time, @EuanWilliamson! Did the von Trapps have Christmas dresses made from curtains? Scarlett did, but her green curtain dress wasn't for Christmas — it was an attempt to manipulate Rhett.

I love all this old movie trivia. That is definitely not to say that I'll be watching TSOM on Christmas day.

Somehow I felt like being in the Christmas spirit. Deer was created with Firefly and the task was completed with Photoshop!

I'm very concerned that it looks like a night vision hunting scope !

Don't worry - as Jacob already wrote, there is no reticle to be seen - so only a night vision device! 😉

Ah, but you probably didn't have those childhood nightmares about Bambi's mother !!

Don't worry great Princess of the Forest, @EuanWilliamson will save you! Oh wait @Michael Ruettger said it's just a night vision scope, so you can park the Bat mobile bro. Happy holidays everyone!
