It appears that the latest version of Photoshop (24.3.0) is using a previously used Splash Screen image (car with moon behind it), which is confusiing a lot of people. How about a new one?

I like the car image as well . . That is not the issue. Adobe has always changed the splash screen to a completely new image with every update. The issue here is that for some reason, they went back to a previous image, creating confusion about which version of photoshop we are viewing. Yes, we can always verify the exact version by going to About Photoshop to see the numerical display of 24.3.0 . . It's just convenient to associate a totally new splash screen with a new version update.

The splash screen that was removed was universally and massively disliked for its glaring neon colors and disturbing design. That's why it was reverted.
