Start working, but then stops

Hi!

It's been around two years since I got the Photographer Pack of Photoshop and Lightroom and I have never had a problem, until now. I have updated to Windows 11 recently, and it looks like my Adobe apps do not want to work well. They start working well as always, until they freeze and don't respond. I have to restart my PC to close them becouse there is no other way to close the program.

I am an student so it is a serious problem that two of my main programs do not work prope

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue? 

 

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far? 

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Thanks for responding!

 

I tried the Graphic Processor Settings and it keeps freezing from nowhere. I am just exporting some JPG and stop working. I still cannot even close the app. I have to restart my whole PC because Photoshop doesn't even respond to my mouse.

 

Any other recommentation I could try?
