I have approximately 900 individual jpegs @ 2100x2940 pixels each. I would like to stitch them together in a 30 x 30 grid, with no borders in between, and not lose any resolution. Is this possible?

This should be possible, as long as you have a beefy system and there is no overlap/alignment required, just a simple edge to edge grid:

Thre are other scripts on the forum for creating simple grids from stacked layers or separate files, use the forum search with appropriate search terms.

Before you do, understand the implications of a 63 000 x 88 200 pixel file!

That is a monster file, and you need to take a long look at your hardware. This is not something you can do on a laptop. You probably need scratch disk space between 1 and 2 terabytes for this, and 256-512 GB RAM certainly won't hurt.

It will probably also tax tthe video card and its dedicated memory far beyond what is normal.
