If you look at first picture closely the airbrush isn't smooth; it appears to have "layers" to the brush itself. I tried downsizing the resolution and canvas but the problem still persists. I also know for sure my computer is strong enough to handle photoshop just fine with graphics driver up to date (AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT). Checked RAM too and it's running fine. I'm on Windows 10.
Here's using the airbrush in CSP and it behaves just fine, very smooth transition. I do want to note though that using very big brushes in CSP makes brushing lag so much it's impossible to paint accurately. In CSP's case, from what I heard it was a compatibility issue but not sure.

Hi!
Can you show us a screenshot of your workspace window with the brush you are using selected and the Options bar visible? Also, what version of Photoshop are you using?

I'm using an imported airbrush, but the default airbrushes on photoshop also yield the same result more or less. I'm on ver. 24.6 for Photoshop so it should be the most up to date version. Also, CSP stands for Clip Studio Paint---it's just another art program I use.

Should this be sufficient?

Yes--thank you! I noticed that there is a little yellow triangle next to the Pen Pressure control. Have you figured out what that warning is about? Are you using a tablet and pen? Have you tried turning off pen pressure to see if you are still getting the same problem?

I haven't figured out what the warning points to. Tried turning off pen pressure and it still behaves the same. I am using a pen and Wacom tablet Intuos Pro S.
