One of the two recent updates, either from nVidia or Windows 11, has caused a strange behavior in Photoshop. Everything works normally for a while, and then, during some action, it seems like the GPU support suddenly turns off. There is graphic lag when moving photos on the screen, and the display of tool indicators changes. The application seems to be running as if it has lost at least half of its resources. I have reinstalled the graphics drivers, but I cannot roll back the Windows update. Of course, everything worked fine until now. Does anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions for a solution other than reinstalling the system?

@klabton try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to backup your settings before doing the preference reset

Also do you use the Nvidia Studio or Game Ready GPU driver, Adobe recommends the Studio version
