@inokeg19040495 what GPU and how much RAM do you have in that system, do you use fast SSD's for the OS and scratch disk and how much free space do you have for the scratch disk

@inokeg19040495 50 GB free space is an issue. You need at least 100 GB for scratch disk.
Lets get a full picture of your setup.
Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

i7 or Ryzen 7 newer generation like 12700, or Ryzen 7 5800X, 7 5700X paired with RTX 3070 / RX 6700 XT. It assumes fast NVMe SSD + at least 32GB 3200 or 3600MHz DDR4 RAM and off course, 500GB for scratch disk at least to say that you have high end machine for Photoshop if thats what are you looking for. There is room for better machine, I am talking about DDR4 that is still valid and somewhat affordable in comparison to newest processors, gpu's, motherboards....

What happens (exactly) when your computer gets stuck? Do you get an error message? Does PS crash? Freeze?

I have been using the 2017 Intel Core i7-7700 Processor, but I believe if we upgrade to the 13th generation of a new processor, this slowness will be fixed.
But our company is saying that, according to Adobe Web, the 6th generation board will be enough to work on the new features.
I don’t know how to prove that. Do you have any suggestions?

Not exactly, there are many components that are directly tied to slowness. One of the main hardware components is the GPU. You need at least, I believe, a GTX 1050Ti to run Photoshop’s newest features without huge delays. I’m not sure how fast it will be. A better card like GTX 1660, RTX 2060, RTX 3060… will increase speed and performance of many filters and newest features esspecially with larger files. The GPU should be paired with the CPU and you can find advice on the internet for pairing. For large files, you will need a lot of scratch disk space or free space on preferably an NVMe SSD disk. Of course, you need RAM, at least 32GB in my opinion if you are going to work with somewhat large files, batch processes…

And by the way, its not sdressed previously, swaping processor is not that easy. You can not just mount 13th gen on motherboard with 7th gen Intel, you must at least change and motherboard.

It's not the CPU!
And anyway, as Bojan says, replacing CPU also means replacing motherboard and most likely RAM.
