Takes several button pushes to get tool quick keys to work.

In regard to the quick keys like the brush tool, eraser or any tool for that matter, I have to push the button once, twice and sometimes four or five times to get the tool I need. Is there a remedy for this. Working on a mac, montery with latest version of photoshop.

Hi @defaultlm6nal9m98vl try going to Preferences/Tools and disabling Spring Loaded Tool Shortcuts.
