Text tool in photshop not working at all.

Latest Photoshop version + M1 MAX silicon 16in MacBook Pro with Monterey 12.3

Text tool puts the lorem ipsum in a repetitive grid pattern. The characters are super small and cannot be changed sizewise. Character kerning is also on top of each other and cannot be changed.

Can't find anything about this anywhere. I reinstalled Photoshop, installed an older version, then reinstalled the latest again...nothing works. Help someone 🙂

SOLVED:

Resetting preferences fixed it.
