Hey there!

I am trying to put my text within a path I made. When I put the Text tool over the path, it doesn't turn into that lovely "T with the circle around it" that it's supposed too. (see image) ...also a screenshot that shows my layers if that's helpful...

Here is a link (it was too big to post in the group) that shows exactly what I'm doing...https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WnZlFPQsDEIDaEnjLN0S9gsN87TlRElx/view?usp=sharing

I have tried to "Reset Preferences on Quit" already

I have Adobe Photoshop 2021 running on a Mac.

Thank you!!!

Update again: I needed to have a New Layer created to make the path on...and then it worked!!!!

Hooray!

So my solution was:

1) Make path on new layer

2) Make sure "Exclude Overlapping Shapes" was selected.

Hooray...thanks world!

Update: I did "Exclude Overlapping Shapes" and now my T does turn into that lovely T with the circle around it, but it still doesn't wrap in the box....
