I use the polygonal lasso tool a lot to fill in images and suddenly every few times I use it it tells me there are no pixels selected when there are. I've tried updating photoshop and restarting, but it still happens. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi @Summer0D45 double check your layers panel and make sure you are selecting on a layer with image data.

If the layer is blank it will throw that error.

It is the right layer & it happens sometimes & then I try it again & it will select just fine. It seems like a glitch.

Hi @Summer0D45 can you share a screen shot of the error message with the entire workspace shown including the layer panel?
