The remove brush stopped working?

All of a sudden the remove brush wont process the edit. It just sits there without removing anything. I went back and reinstalled a previous version and its now doing the same thing in that version where it worked before. It wont let you get past the edit so you have to click exit and then a window pop up up asks if you would like to comitt to the edit, and then the next pop up asks if youd like to save the edit. If you click cancel it will apply the edit. Thats a very long work around to this problem. I do have to admit that what I like about this work around is you can click around and do all of your removes at one time and do not have to wait for each brush stroke to edit which is a slow process. Might be something to consider in the bug fix Adobe?

Thank you! Ended up having tech support going into my computer and making it right.
