Hi Everyone!
Just as a note I am an extreme beginner using PS so sorry if this is an easy fix but also please keep your answers/instructions basic so I can follow!!
I have completed my design and have noticed a fine vertical black line on my design. I have zoomed in and out to see if it's just a glitch but it definitely is part of my design. I can't select the line and it doesn't feature in my layers list. I've also saved it as a PDF to see if it still exists and it does - it's part of my background layer. Can anyone tell me why this exists? And how I get rid of it - can I actually delete it or do I need to blend it into my background - best ways of doing this? My background is a blurred watercolour background so this might be difficult!?
Soooo frustrating as it's my first design and I only noticed it once I had finished!
Oh and another question.... I recently purchased Photoshop CS6 for dummies not realising I actually have Photoshop CC 2017 - can I still use this book or do I definitely need the CC book? Or can anyone recommend a really good book for a beginner that isn't too technical.
Thanks in advance!
Amy

2. Use the rectangular marquee tool to make a selection around the line
3. Select the patch tool and set the options as below:

Now click and drag the selection over another part of your image with the same content - watching the area to be patched until it matches

Once you are happy, let go and the patch will be

The CS6 book will probably help.
Try a combination of selection, clone, and healing tools.

I hope that helps you
