Too Many Adobe Sign ins required - Opening Adobe apps closes other Adobe apps

For over a month I have had to sign in to Adobe for every one of the installed Adobe products regardless of which app may already be running or signed in. The sign-in is required every time the app is opened all day every day.  Creative Cloud is automatically started when the system is booted. In addition, with LrC open and selecting "edit in Photoshop 2024", not only is Adobe sign in required but when signed in, LrC is immediately closed. If I start from Photoshop and then open LrC, Photoshop is immediately closed.
I've searched the support forums and the community and have tried anything that looked even remotely close nothing has helped. Please help.

I have the following Adobe software installed:

Creative Cloud Version 6.1.0.587
Lightroom Classic Version 13.1 CR 16.1
Photoshop Version 25.3.1
Adobe Acrobat Std Version 2023.008.20421

Windows 11 Pro    23H2, (current with all updates)
OS Build                22631.2861
Lenovo Laptop     TP-P17    (current with all updates)

Processor             Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10885H CPU @ 2.40GHz   2.40 GHz
Installed RAM       64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)
System Type         64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

That's odd, I don't think I've heard of this before.

The first thing I would do is sign out of the CC desktop app - not the individual applications - and then sign back in. Then maybe also uninstall the CC app and reinstall it.

Normally the whole process should be managed and maintained by the CC app. It should never be necessary to sign in to individual apps.

There is a separate forum for the CC app, maybe someone there knows.

Thank you for the response.  I had tried both of those suggestions early on. Including uninstalling all the apps & then uninstalling the CC app.  All to no avail. Thanks also for the pointer to the CC forum.  There I found a slight twist on the CC uninstall.  It does not use the 'Windows uninstall' but instead says this:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Creative Cloud desktop app is critical for working with Adobe apps, but if you’re having problems installing apps because it has been corrupted, you should uninstall and reinstall it to fix the problem.

  1. Uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app using the "Creative Cloud desktop uninstaller" (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html)
  2. Download and install the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app. (https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html)

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

That seems to have resolved both issues... constant sign ins and, one opened app be closed when opening another app. Happy camper.  Thank you again.

P.S.  I noticed that the version of the CC app that I had was '6.1.0.587'  and the version of the CC app that was installed from the link above was '5.8.0.587' which some time later was updated to the '6.1.0.587' version.  Guessing that something had gone wrong with the originally installed version but was not cleared by a 'Windows uninstall'.  Guessing.

I spoke too soon.  That difference in the CC versions is significant.  I had version '6.1.0.587' and the version of the CC app that was installed from the link above was '5.8.0.587' which some time later was updated to the '6.1.0.587' version.  Both problems were corrected when version '5.8.0.587' was installed.  Then that version was updated automatically to version '6.1.0.587' and both problems returned.

I've uninstalled CC & reinstalled CC again from the links above.  Both problems are again resoved.

Is there another way to stop the automatic update of CC?  I have turned off  'Keep Creative Cloud updated." in prefernces.
