Hi

I just installed Photoshop onto my new mac and can't get any of the tools to work.

All I have is a little hand for a mouse, no of the select tools such as paint brush or rubber change the mouse its always a little hand.

I'm not new to Photoshop, I've tried a couple of different fix but none of them work I can't figure it as, as my old mac has Photoshop and works fine

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Check your exact version. Do you have the patch to 20.0.1?

And which workspace?

Hi!

Anytime my Adobe apps start acting funny, I go through this process and it fixes it most of the time.

Uninstall photoshop BUT make sure to choose the option “Yes, remove app preference”.

Once that process finishes, start the installation process and look into the “Advanced Options”. Uncheck “Import previous settings and preferences” and choose to “Remove old versions”.

Hope you find this helpful!

Hey

Still not luck. Someone from adobe tried to fix it remotely but not joy.

Its been escalated, but I'm thinking there might be an issue with the macbook at the moment.

Such a pain!
