Update 22.5.1 PS, tools are yet again scrambled and wasting time discovering that they are either missing as I am working or they do not perform functions as assigned. Eyedropper will not select colors in photo, brushes are not painting, tools as assigned are not assigned to other functions. Got through an update or two with no issues and now yet again, work comes to a halt due to functionality of program. Please launch an update when its been fully tested or don't bother.
If some of the tools are missing, go to Edit > Toolbars, then Restore the Toolbar to put all tools back in their assigned places.
If some of your tools are not behaving as expected, then reset the tools. Right-click whichever tool is in the options bar and choose Reset All Tools. If you don't want automatic updates, you can turn them off.
If a tool still does not work, show a screen shot with the options bar and the Layers panel so we can see the issue you are having and better assist.
