Transform & Select

1. When transforming an object or text, when I hit enter to "accept" the transform, it no longer releases the box afterwards.

2. Select  - I now have to hold down the command key to move from layer to another, when in the past I could just click on the object or the text to select that layer. Was this on purpose? (I can select a text layer by double clicking on it, but it doesn't work for images.)

Please post a meaningful screenshot including the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Options Bar, …). 

What are the Move Tool’s settings in the Options Bar (Auto-Select, Show Transform … etc.)?
