I am running Photoshop 23.0.1 on Mac OS 11.6 (Big Sur), Intel MacBook Pro 13 inch 2020.
The latest update has done something weird with the box you use to change the size/rotation of a layer when using "Free Transform". The box should show up with the anchors when you hit COM-T and then disappear when you either hit ESC or RETURN and apply your transforms. Instead, now the box does not show up until you zoom the layer/object you are transforming. Then, it stays even after you have finished your transforming but of course it's not really there. This is really confusing and makes using the Free Transform difficult.
If anyone knows how to fix it or why it's happening, I would appreciate the help. I've attached a (crude) recording with the keyboard presses visible so maybe it'll be easier to understand by seeing it.
Sorry, I started writing this last night and there was no update, now today there is an update that has fixed this issue. Thanks!

I have updated to the latest version, 2023, and am using a 2 month old 27 inch mac, with 3.8GHz and 5500 XT 8Gb processor.
This version is so incredibly annoying and SLOW! The bounding box with transform stays for me too, after accepting the transform. And selecting the move tool and deselecting the show bounding box does absolutely nothing. And when it stays bound, the save as function does not work! Even after resetting photoshop, uninstalling and re installing. After a few files of work, it does it again! I am so frustrated with it! I am having to close work without saving it!
Luckily I still have PS2021. Reverting back to that version, it runs like a dream. Come on Adobe, updates are supposed to be better, not worse!
