I am very anxious to use the ACR program. However, the traditional configuration of ACR does not appear after I load an image. The only RAW program is in the format similar to LR. I even selected Convert for Smart Filters but all that did was load the same RAW program. How do I get the classical appearing ACR program? I use a Canon 7D Mark II which should be supported.
Thanks,

HI there,
We're sorry about the trouble with Camera Raw. Are you referring to the old user interface of Camera Raw? With the latest Camera Raw update, the interface has been changed to an interface similar to Lightroom (as you pointed out). We currently do not have an option to revert to the old interface of Camera Raw other than reverting to the previous version.
If you wish to install the previous version of Camera Raw, you can do that using the installer available here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html
Let us know if it helps!
Regards,
Nikunj

Can you identify which OS version you are using? Also note the Photoshop Version and the ACR version you have installed? Photoshop only support RAW file through ACR there is no Lightroom Develop plug-in for Photoshop. RAW file passed to Photoshop from Lightroom will be opened through ACR. ACR can use Lightroom raw settings because Lightroom and ACR use the same Adobe RAW conversion engine. Photoshop can only support RAW files through ACR for PHotoshop Does noT have support for Camera RAW files.
