Unable to launch or update photoshop

Hi there,

I am running Windows 10 Home 64 bit with a variety of Adobe Suite products installed. However, I am unable to launch or update Photoshop since about 1-2 days ago. It will always crash on launch and the update is failing - even trying to install an "older" version of it. Please advise as I need to use this application for my business and not having Photoshop hurts. Thank you for your time & insight.

In case others encounter this issue, I found the solution to be posted by another, as follows:

  • Disable auto update for your applications after cancelling/pausing photoshop update. 
  • Log out of your account.
  • Stop all Adobe processes or simply Restart your PC.
  • Relaunch Adobe Creative Cloud and log in.
  • Update and launch Photoshop.
