I captured several 35mm slides in Lightroom Classic and saved them as jpg images. When I try to open those images in Photoshop CC, I get an error message "Photoshop.exe-Bad Image" with an error status 0xc000012f
These same images are able to be displayed on all of my other image viewer apps.
I can use Photoshop on any other images I have except those saved in Lightroom Classic.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Problem solved. Adobe agent discovered a missing file (msvcp110.dll)
All is well.

@kn4hh error status 0xc000012f seems to be related to the Windows operating system, can you post a screenshot of the full error message

The mystery continues. I decided to take the SD card directly out of my Nikon D-610 and read the images on my PC. All of my image viewing programs properly displayed the jpg images off the card except Photoshop CC. I still get the same error message as when I tried to load images saved in Lightroom Classic. I will leave a post with Microsoft and see if they respond with any suggestions.
