Unable to open PSD files with file size larger than 250MB

As title, PhotoShop freezes and becomes unresponsive after opening a PSD file larger than 250mb.

I removed the plugin and reinstalled it, but still the same, no problem before.

I'd like to ask if anyone has encountered similar problems?
If so, how to solve it?

Was this your created PSD with your current PS or created by someone else's PSD? Originally the PSD was inside of PS, but when saved, may have corrupted. Keep all other apps off when working on large files.

You did not mention other large PSDs failing to open.

Other PSD files larger than 250MB cannot be opened, but they can be opened on other devices.

Finally, I reinstalled Windows OS before it normally.
