Understanding which Image bits mode using for media social (facebook and instagram) 8bits or 16bits?

I want to know, which mode image I working on 8Bits/Chanel or 16Bits/Chanel in Photoshop, for share it on social networks (facebook and Instagram).

Facebook & Instagram support standard web graphics format for JPG, GIF and PNG file types, therefor 8-bits/channel, sRGB color mode.

8 bpc for published images, 16 bpc would only be for editing if desired/required.
