There is a green 1 that I can't erase which appears to be outside my layers. the green 1 is still visible even with all layers turned off.

What do I need to do to get rid of the 1 in the middle of the screen?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Could you please post select the Count Tool and post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

I figured it out after you mentioned the count tool. I must have accidentally used it while trying to use the eye dropper tool.

Thanks for the insight. 🙂

I think its’s fair to say it is one of the more obscure tools, intended for technical or scientific use.
