Update broke Photoshop

I installed Creative Suite Update v 24.1.1. and Ps now generates an error (shown below) and will not start.

uninstall photoshop including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

restart your computer 

reinstall ps

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Error 0xc000142 indicates that your computer processor does not support SEE version 4.2 or higher which is required for current Photoshop.

Thanks for the replies. I had to create a new shortcut and reboot. Ps is working again. I never had to to do that before after a Creative Suite update, but all's well that ends well!
