Hi,
I recently updated to the newest PS version. I am using some complex VBscript/WSH script to automate much of my workflow.
But after the update, they all fail. I cannot even create the Photoshop ActiveX object. The simple code line
Set objApp = CreateObject( "Photoshop.Application" )
fails with the error message
Skript: C:\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.vbs
Zeile: 16
Zeichen: 1
Fehler: ActiveX-Komponenten kann kein Objekt erstellen: 'Photoshop.Application'
Code: 800A01AD
Quelle: Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft VBScript
which essentially means that "Photoshop.Application" cannot be instantiated.
I still see people on this forum using scripts, so apparently the feature has not been removed.
Any ideas? Thank you very much!
Uninstalling (deleting all settings) and reinstalling from the CC app has fixed the issue.

Once I had the same problem, but not in the latter Photoshop. I don't remember what was the cause and how I solved it, but maybe if I remember well I found that's a problem of vbs, not Photoshop, so if you won't find the reason why it happens (by googling) you may be forced to resinstal Windows.
