I've been using an iMac for around 12 years with Photoshop CS5 and need to buy a new MacBook Pro. I'm an illustrator, and was wondering if there's any way I can transfer my Photoshop onto the laptop or is it too old for the newer system. What other options do I have?

Hi

Photoshop CS5 will not run on the latest versions of MacOS

The only real option you have is to subscribe to the Creative Cloud if you want Photoshop proper or you could consider either Photoshop Elements 2022 or Affinity Photo both of which are a once off purchase with no subscription
