Using photoshop 22.4.1 lighting effects on Mac Catalina don't work. 
Deactivate Native Canvas maxde no difference

After selecting lightig effects layer pops up white or black with 3d symbol in palette

reste all prefs made no diference

Bonjour, suite à la mise  jour, fermer PS. LAncer PS en recréeant les paramètres par défaut de PS, ur Mac : presser Maj+option+Command et double-clic sur l'icone Photoschop. et en plus dans les Préférence, cocher Aperçus des technologie /Désactiver la zone de travail active, ensuite relancer PS normalement (le fichier doit être en RVB 8 bits).

Hi, Yves, unfortunately, it seems that the Sri has already done all this, but not sure of the order, I'd reset the prefs, then deactivate native canvas.

Make sure also that the Operating System is up to date, some native drivers might need updates

 

Sri, did you restart Photoshop after doing all this? restart the computer?

Evidement depuis quelque temps, Adobe est chatouilleux avec les systèmes d'exploitation et pour moi, il est toujours préférable de réinitialiser les préférences après une mise à jour !
