Can anyone help with this issue.  I saw the previous posts from v18 and v19 where there was a workaround, but I have uninstalled, restarted my computer and reinstalled, check the clock, etc, but keep getting this message for weeks now.   PhotoShop simply doesn't allow me to open any files.  Illustrator is fine, as are other Adobe products.

Thanks in advance

Hi!

What version of Photoshop are you working with? And are you on a Mac or Windows machine with what OS? How big is the jpg file? How full is your hard disk? How much ram do you have? And, do you have any Scratch Disks connected?

Have you tried resetting your preferences? Here is some information to walk you through: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Also, have you tried turning your Graphics Processor Card off to see if that makes a difference: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

I apologize for all of the questions, but if you could let us know, it will be easier for us to help you!

Michelle
