Go window/patterns. Click on the fly out menu and add legacy styles in the layer styles as patterns.

thank for your reply. I did what you suggested but I can't see the patterns I saved. The photoshop patterns appear (the default ones) but not mine.

I don't see the 2021 patterns and I don't see the patterns I had saved. I can only see the default patterns from previous years.

How is it possible for this to happen in the span of two hours? I have never had a problem before now. I have not deleted anything.

Import the pattern you saved from the pattern panel menu. I don't know the exact location for Windows, but it is here for my Mac. /Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2020/Presets/Patterns/Your Patterns.pat
