How are you intending to use this? As a frame animation, a video, or embedded on a web page?
As far as I can tell, none of those screen shots shows the motion workspace. There is no timeline, so I am not sure how the smoke animation is supposed to work.
How will you export this, and to what format?
As regards the smoke becoming transparent, I wonder what the blend mopde is of the smoke animation layers?
If you double click the smoke animation Smart Object to open it in a new window, how many layers do you see? Are they all turned on? Without knowing how this is supposed to work it's difficult to know whhat is going on. From what I can see, I am not even sure if it _can_work.
If you can answer these questions, we'll see what we can do.

This will be sized to go on all social media platforms.
Different videos will be placed in between the yellow borders.
When I opened the timeline window and pressed play it instantly turned transparent.
The original designer used an mp4 file for the smoke.
In the layers panel, everything hilighted in red is what was in the group.
My orginal idea was to take this frame to Premiere Pro for the smoke but saw multiple examples of similar projects being used in Photoshop.
Let me know if I described the situation enough for assistance.

Probably some issue with hardware acceleration. The more interesting question therefore would be if it actuall renders out correctly...

Do you think it's worth trying to make work?
Or should I adjust the design to get it going?

Hello, is it on an M1 Mac?
In this case, you have to run Ps in rosetta, and not in native mode.

Thank you. I'll give that a try.

I'm on a MAcbook pro and don't have the Rosetta option revealed. It may just be faster to scrap the concept for me.

Hi, first it have an Intel processor? In that case, there is no Rosetta available.
