What means video editing is disappear? Menu item disappeared or Timeline or something else?

The same problem, now photoshop don't allow to create an animation timelapse. And do allow import video files too.

 

What version of Photoshop do I need to have installed to work with video?

Check if this work :

On the top right corner of the horzontal bar you can choose a spécific éditing workspace… Don't know the english term. Just after 3D.

Then have to select video and not image animation (whixh is good for gifs)
